Abstract
⺠Repetitive negative thinking (RNT) is a transdiagnostic process thought to maintain multiple emotional disorders. ⺠Existing RNT measures are diagnosis-specific which restricts examination of RNT across anxiety and depressive disorders. ⺠The Repetitive Thinking Questionnaire (RTQ) seeks to index RNT that is trans-emotional and transdiagnostic. ⺠In a clinical sample, the RTQ demonstrated good internal consistency, convergent and divergent validity.
