Abstract
Further experimental research on chronic pain treatment mechanisms is needed, particularly research on individually tailoring treatment strategies according to patients characteristics. Conclusion: Results show that both, cognitive restructuring and acceptance instructions, enhance pain tolerance in fibromyalgia patients.
