Abstract
âºWe examined whether experimentally induced disgust results in fear reactions of children. âºInduced disgust produced higher levels of fear towards a novel animal. âºInduced disgust also yielded a negative interpretation bias involving this animal. âºThese findings demonstrate that disgust has a fear-promoting effect.
