Abstract
⺠Cognitive model of bipolar disorder focussing on extreme appraisals of internal states. ⺠Case series design (n = 7) with multiple baseline and follow-up. ⺠12 sessions of CBT based on individual formulations of model. ⺠Large effects found for symptoms, functioning and key cognitions. ⺠Therapy found to be feasible and acceptable.
