Abstract
⺠Depression severity is associated with reduced memory specificity in patients diagnosed with borderline personality disorder. ⺠Reduced memory specificity is associated with the personal meaning a cue has for the respondent (cue content; high discrepancy), at least in currently depressed borderline patients. ⺠Findings are discussed in relation to posttraumatic stress and/or executive functioning.
