Abstract
⺠Generalization of conditioned responding is studied from a memory perspective. ⺠Human contingeny-learning procedure with neutral conditioned/generalization stimuli. ⺠Autobiographical memory specificity is associated with the extent of generalization. ⺠Stronger conditioned responses to generalization stimuli in low specific participants. ⺠Possible implications for emotional disorders are discussed.
