Abstract
⺠Effects of self-monitoring on overt behavior and implicit processes. ⺠The experimental group monitored snack-eating, the control group alcohol-drinking. ⺠Consumption decreased only in the experimental group. ⺠Explicit satisfaction of the habit remained the same in both groups. ⺠There appeared to be small implicit cognitive changes in both groups.
