Abstract
⺠Survey data was collected during the recent H1N1 (Swine Flu) outbreak, using an undergraduate sample to evaluate obsessive compulsive symptoms, disgust, and health anxiety and anxiety sensitivity. ⺠It was predicted that disgust, health anxiety, and anxiety sensitivity would mediate the relationship between obsessive-compulsive symptoms and beliefs, and H1N1 fears. ⺠Path modeling was used to test the models. Anxiety sensitivity was the best moderator of the relationship between obsessive-compulsive symptoms and H1N1 fears.
