Abstract
► Addressing covert neutralization in OCD together with overt compulsions did not improve outcome. ► Both overt only and overt and covert treatment conditions showed equally significant clinical improvement. ► The covert and overt condition shows greater reduction in beliefs about the likelihood of consequences and in need to neutralize.
