Abstract
The Bajslan-Tash cave locality is situated in the southern part of the Urals in the Belaja River valley (Russian Federation). The post-glacial period of environmental development of the Southern Urals is represented in the Bajslan-Tash cave site. Unconsolidated sediments were studied with the help of faunal, palynological and radiocarbon methods. Descriptions of the unconsolidated deposits of the cave are given in this article. Preliminary results of a stratigraphical subdivision of the investigated sediments and palaeoenvironmental reconstructions are submitted.
