Abstract
⺠Infants' attentional preference for differently aged models was investigated. ⺠Twelve-month-olds have an attentional preference for actions of older children. ⺠This preference was found in looking time, mean heart rate, and parental report. ⺠This preference cannot be explained by the models' facial characteristics or amount of movement.
