Abstract
ⶠWe examined infants' perception of question versus declarative intonation. ⶠStimuli used were English yes-no questions and declarative sentences. ⶠInfants habituated to questions and infants habituated to declaratives preferred the question forms at test. ⶠThe results suggest that infants process these two sentence types differently.
