▶ Breastfeeding was associated with greater attentional biases to infant distress. ▶ This may imply greater maternal sensitivity. ▶ Prior to their infant's birth, mothers showed no differences in attentional bias. ▶ Differences in attentional bias according to feeding type were found after birth.
