Abstract
⺠We investigated the effect of active movements on haptic temporal perception. ⺠Performance was determined using intermodal and intramodal stimuli. ⺠Discrimination thresholds were much larger for intermodal than intramodal stimuli. ⺠Passive movements affect temporal alignment of intermodal stimuli. ⺠Active movements improve discrimination for intramodal but not intermodal stimuli.
