Abstract
⺠Participants told the truth or lied about their intentions. ⺠Participants had either visited or not visited the destination they discussed before. ⺠Truth tellers gave more detail than liars on unexpected questions. ⺠Liars give more detail than truth tellers on expected questions. ⺠Participants' previous experience magnified these effects.
