Abstract
⺠Brain potentials were recorded while participants judged the ownership of objects. ⺠Object names were preceded by positive or negative terms. ⺠Other-owned objects evoked more negative-going responses when positively described. ⺠The opposite pattern was found with intranasal oxytocin administration. ⺠Oxytocin had no effect on self-owned objects.
