Abstract
⺠Feminine facial characteristics are associated with health in women. ⺠Men's disgust to pathogens correlated with their preference for feminine mates. ⺠Similar results for cortisol levels, a biomarker for immunosuppression. ⺠Mate preferences may help offset the costs of vulnerability to disease.
