Abstract
⺠We examined brain responses to distracting alcohol cues during an attention task. ⺠We observe cue-related activation differences between phases of alcohol dependence. ⺠Alcoholic recovery is associated with more cognitive control and less limbic response. ⺠Observed differences suggest recovery-associated changes in alcohol cue reactivity.
