Abstract
⺠N1-suppression effect is modified in response to self-initiated deviants (SID). ⺠Enhanced N2b and P3a is elicited by self- compared to externally-produced deviants. ⺠Specific predictions are generated in response to self-initiated sounds. ⺠Prediction errors (PE) are more salient in response to SIDs. ⺠The specificity of predictions forms the neural suppression and detection of PEs.
