Abstract
⺠In two studies, we used EEG to test if approach motivation mutes sensitivity to negative stimuli. ⺠Approach-related frontal alpha asymmetry predicted reduced error-related negativity. ⺠We discuss broad implications for these motivation/emotion systems.
