Abstract
⺠Implicit sadness vs. anger primes were presented during a cognitive task. ⺠Monetary success incentive was low vs. high. ⺠Cardiac PEP and HR responses described the expected interaction. ⺠Responses in the sadness prime condition increased with incentive. ⺠Responses in the anger-prime condition were moderate.
