Abstract
⺠CADPS2 mediates monoamine transmission and neurotrophin release. ⺠Blood CADPS2ÎExon3 (a defective CADPS2 variant) expression is associated with autism. ⺠We examined the association between blood CADPS2/CADPS2ÎExon3 expression levels and intelligence/memory of healthy adults. ⺠CADPS2ÎExon3 positive subjects had lower verbal IQ and lower verbal memory.
