Abstract
⺠The emotional meaning of names is identified quite late (around 600 ms). ⺠The emotional meaning of nouns can be activated very rapidly (around 100 ms). ⺠The durations of emotional evaluations are similar between names and nouns. ⺠The retrieval of emotionality of names and nouns involved different neural processes.
