Abstract
⺠An aphasic patient was tested on words containing coda clusters of varying sonority. ⺠His errors simplified phonological structure in multi- but not mono-morphemic words. ⺠Analyses suggest a deficit in the ability to concatenate morphemes allowed grammar to make repairs. ⺠These data represent the first description of a morpho-phonological impairment.
