► Cultural biases for global/local levels can profoundly affect the contents of unconscious and not just conscious knowledge. ► Such cultural biases in unconscious knowledge contents can be at least partially overcome by intention to do so. ► Unconscious learning is strongly influenced by attention and relevance.
