Abstract
⺠Tracks structural priming effects in sentence production across development. ⺠Compares competing theories of syntax development and of sentence processing. ⺠Shows abstract priming and the lexical boost follow different developmental paths. ⺠Suggests that syntactic knowledge can develop independently of verb-specific frames. ⺠Suggests a role for implicit and explicit learning mechanisms in structural priming.
