Abstract
⺠We present a factor-analytically generated scale to measure consciousness in dreams. ⺠Eight factors were empirically derived and validated. ⺠Insight is the core criterion for lucid dreams. ⺠The scale allows to distinguish between normal REM sleep dreams and lucid dreams.
