Abstract
► In swimming-style colour synaesthesia, a swimming-style induces a colour experience. ► We provide psychophysiological evidence for swimming-style colour synaesthesia. ► For this form of synaesthesia, the colour experiences are induced conceptually. ► Behavioural aspects of swimming-style colour synaesthesia can be learned. ► This form of synaesthesia is theoretically best explained by re-entrant feedback.
