Abstract
⺠Examined flexibility in automatic processes through reliance on contextual factors. ⺠Participants learned two sequences separately as a function of context. ⺠Learning when contexts were mixed occurred only for highly distinct contexts. ⺠This suggests that episodic details can be represented in sequence knowledge.
