Abstract
► Judging whether an action was performed by a subject is referred to as output monitoring. ► We investigated output-monitoring errors over speech based on findings in the research on the sense of agency. ► Intense motor command and efferent copy increased “I said it aloud” responses. ► “I said it aloud” responses were equal in unaltered, delayed, and altered with a brief delay feedback conditions. ► These results were discussed according to the sense of agency and agency memory.
