Abstract
⺠We investigate to what extent people are willing to attribute unconscious processes. ⺠People are more willing to attribute generic unconscious events than specific ones. ⺠Unconscious psychological processes are resisted for certain domains in particular. ⺠People are less willing to accept unconscious processes in selves than in others. ⺠The time frame is irrelevant for attribution of unconscious processes about oneself.
