Abstract
⺠We explored how responses to objects and sensitivity to dangerousness develop. ⺠We investigated how motor resonance develops with a visuomotor priming paradigm. ⺠Both children and adults discriminated between neutral vs. dangerous objects. ⺠Both children and adults discriminated between biological vs. non-biological hands. ⺠Resonant mechanisms related to the hand-prime gender emerged only in adults.
