Abstract
⺠We examined the feeling of knowing (FOK) in an episodic memory task. ⺠We hypothesized that FOK is an inferential process influenced by partial target access. ⺠We found that accuracy of certain attributes associated with the target influenced FOKs. ⺠Accurately remembered semantic attributes resulted in higher FOK judgments.
