Abstract
⺠We analyzed the impact of hypomania on self-defining memories and self-defining future projections in a general population. ⺠Results showed that the content of the narratives collected was related to proneness to hypomania. ⺠Hypomania-prone individuals integrated more negative memories in their self-structure. ⺠These results support the presence of conflicting and extreme dysfunctional beliefs in hypomania. ⺠This study provides new elements associated with the identity of hypomania-prone individuals.
