Abstract
⺠I explore connections between folk conceptions of free will and consciousness. ⺠Conscious causation elicits pro-free will judgments in deterministic scenarios. ⺠Unconscious causation elicits anti-free will judgments in most scenarios. ⺠Sharp and theoretically promising conceptual differences exist between certain individuals.
