Abstract
⺠We investigated the role of imagery encoding on prospective memory. ⺠Imagery facilitated prospective memory by influencing the microstructure of event-based cue detection. ⺠Imagery encoding reduced interference to lures occurring outside of context. ⺠Imagery encoding improved cue detection.
