Abstract
⺠This study investigated a link between knee-related muscle pain and posture control. ⺠Pain caused faster onset of postural muscles in anticipatory postural adjustments. ⺠Pain caused reduced postural muscle activity in anticipatory postural adjustments. ⺠Faster onset may indicate a compensatory function to maintain postural control. ⺠Reduced activity may indicate a pain adaptation strategy to avoid secondary damage.
