Abstract
⺠Lunges with elastic resistance could be an effective leg strengthening exercise. ⺠Ballistic muscle contraction with medium load are as effective as slow contraction with heavy load. ⺠Lunges with elastic resistance and isoinertial resistance induces only slightly different muscle activity patterns.
