Abstract
⺠We explored how postural fluctuations might moderate effects of plantar stimulation. ⺠We reanalyzed data demonstrating that white-noise stimulation stabilizes posture. ⺠Effect of white noise depends on temporal correlation of postural fluctuations. ⺠White-noise stimulation may diminish temporal correlation of postural fluctuation. ⺠Plantar stimulation may be more effective when calibrated to postural fluctuations.
