Abstract
► The in-phase mode had lower Approximate Entropy within effector movements. ► In-phase mode had lower Cross-Approximate Entropy of effectors than other modes. ► In-phase mode had higher relative phase Approximate Entropy than other modes. ► Results supported the Newell and Vaillancourt (2001) hypothesis on dimensionality. ► Findings generalize Newell & Vaillancourt hypothesis across levels of analysis.
