Abstract
⺠We compare prehension in a laboratory and an everyday-like behavioral context. ⺠Kinematics, force profiles and variability differed between contexts. ⺠Factor analysis traced differences back to four orthogonal sources. ⺠Context seems to affect four distinct functional modules.
