Abstract
⺠The perception of affordances for children was investigated in 3 tasks. ⺠Estimations of step length were less accurate than estimations of in reaching tasks. ⺠One trial observation led to a 50% error reduction if the initial estimation was poor. ⺠In some tasks, a minimal amount of practice was enough to adjust perception. ⺠Calibration in the estimation of affordances for children is task dependent.
