Abstract
⺠We use a Multiple-Item-Approach to measure Complex Problem Solving (CPS). ⺠We examine the internal structure and construct validity of CPS. ⺠Two CPS dimensions - rule knowledge and system control - can be empirically separated. ⺠CPS explains variance in grade point average (GPA) even beyond reasoning.
