Abstract
⺠Community based 4-level interventions are a promising way to prevent suicidal behaviour. ⺠A reduction of 24% of suicidal acts could be shown for a model project in 2001. ⺠The approach is already implemented in many regions across Europe (>100). ⺠The 4-level intervention concept is optimized within the FP7-project OSPI-Europe. ⺠EAAD (www.EAAD.net) is a platform to expand these interventions to other regions.
