Abstract
⺠We propose the balance of the dynamic property of mitochondria as mitochondrial homeostasis. ⺠The maintenance of mitochondrial homeostasis is associated with the etiology of Parkinson's diseases. ⺠The important five PD-related genes are PINK1, Parkin, alpha-synuclein, DJ-1 and LRRK2 genes. ⺠The PD-related genes are involved in maintaining mitochondrial homeostasis.
