Abstract
â¶ The 'last in-first out' phenomenon motivates gait rehabilitation in dementia. â¶ The majority of the therapeutic strategies are applicable for mild AD. â¶ Rehabilitation of functions that are relatively preserved in dementia is limited. â¶ Maintaining the level of physical activity may contribute to cognitive functioning.
