Abstract
⺠Pharmacologic treatment of tics remains based on the use of neuroleptics. ⺠Aripiprazole is currently the neuroleptic with the best risk/benefit ratio. ⺠Botulinum toxin injections is an important treatment option for isolated tics. ⺠More controlled randomized studies are required in the field.
