Abstract
► Divergent cortical processing of externalized static and motion stimuli was studied. ► Differences in ERPs were found 100 ms and around 300 ms after stimulus-onset. ► Results support a contralateral processing of the origin and termination of motion. ► Data suggest the existence of additional left-lateralized motion-specific processes. ► Left-lateralized processes might be coupled with the evaluation of motion velocity.
