Abstract
⺠Investigated which sensory modalities contribute to object concepts. ⺠Compared verbal features with ratings of modality-specific experience. ⺠Ratings indicated more multi-modal representation, especially for motion and colour. ⺠Ratings were a better predictor of RTs in picture and word recognition. ⺠Indicates object concepts include contributions from numerous sensory channels.
