Abstract
⺠We explored performance of parietal lobe patients on an explicit memory cueing task. ⺠Without cues, patients and controls did not differ in recognition accuracy. ⺠Patients were less accurate at responding after valid “Likely New” cues. ⺠Comparing to a frontal lesion group suggested pattern was specific to parietal cortex. ⺠Parietal lobe adaptively biases memory judgments by integrating cues with retrieval.
